MT tagging provides highly secure physical authentication on the products whether by way of labels, covers, coating, printed directly on the product or even embedded into the packaging materials – such as paper or plastic.
APPLICATIONS
Passports, IDs, Security Documents
Passports and other security documents can be protected by tagging critical features such as bearer photo, ID numbers etc. This focused tagging prevents using a genuine (stolen) document (passport, ID, license) and modifying just the photo for instance.
Currencies
Protecting currencies by MicroTag technology provides Level 3 class technology, capable of perfect ID performance (proven) in main sorting machines at sorting speeds of up to 10 meters/sec. The track record of 17 years in the Brand Protection around the globe without being compromised even once attest to it’s robustness.
The special and unique properties of the MicroTag technology allows for obtaining 3 authentication levels from Level 1 to Level 3 on the same Bank Note with the same tagging but with different readers thus providing total separation among the 3 levels resulting in actually 3 totally separate authentication markings. No possibility to breach the other levels even if one is compromised.
Cards
Securing cards (credit, debit, access, etc.) has been accomplished by tagging the card during manufacturing in between the plastic layers, under the mag stripe thus providing reliable life-time security for the card even under harsh conditions. Two security options – 1. Simple authentication (Yes/No) 2. Protecting both the plastic card and the information (on the mag stripe or chip) against change.
Sports Goods
Tagging the good in any of the exiting feature on the surface or embedded in the product’s material for life (warranty issues) on top of using secure T&T features as per described above (solutions, Secure T&T)
Medicines
Securing medicines is possible in a multi-level mode from the primary packaging (such as blisters inside a box – authenticated through the box without opening it) trough the secondary and beyond. Using secure T&T labels on the various cartons and boxes as per health authorities new regulations for an authentic full information record from manufacturing to destination.
